Can't believe Fireworks are slept on. They protect you during the few seconds you have to take your eyes off enemies: when interacting with literally anything. They do insane damage and they still thin out hoards of enemies at later stages when you're fast enough to activate a lot of stuff in succession. Their tracking is also insane, homing on enemies across almost the entire map.

Even if Stoneflux doubled your damage and halved your cooldown on top of it, I still wouldn't use it. Mobility is not just important, it's like 50% of the fun factor of the game. The worst part of any run for me by far is the start of a new run when I'm slow as molasses compared to the previous run in which I zoomed across the map in 2 seconds.

You shot yourself in the foot by choosing the artifact of sacrifice. At one point, chests have such a high price, it also becomes negative, but for some reason the game counts it as "free" so you don't need any money to open them. Also, the game starts crashing when Auri spawns too, so I had to cheat in a portal to get out of that stage.

I've been playing Risk of Rain 2 for a few days now and the first two lunar items I've gotten were stone flux pauldron and egocentrism. I was just waiting for stone flux to get eaten so I could continue playing. Good to hear the rest of the lunar items aren't as bad.

I love Ego with all my heart. It is not a good item per say, but you can make a build aroind it. My favorite way of using it is to go acrid and search for movement item printers and jusy convert all my items to movement. Having a giant stack of one item decreases egos effect on you and also allows you to get up to enemies faster to really melt them. Throw in a good healing equipment with some gestures and youve got a killer meme build. I also love ego on moving sentry engineer. Three times the ego :)

Singularity band is basically just a band for people who still don't haven't unlocked it because they have no friends and also don't play any of the characters where you can unlock it with one player

Liking the game so far, but going through so many hoops to unlock stuff feels very overwhelming

personally for me the choice between plasma shrimp and atg really depends if i'm looping or not since getting a clover significantly increases atg damage but ends up as a potential damage loss with plasma shrimp

Why do you keep shaking the camera for Engineer's Utility skill? It's giving me motion sickness.

For some reason The boss rush stage works. But activating either of the pilars for the fight. Does nothing I have no other mod installed (only the things necessary for the Boss rush mod) Does anyone know why this is happening?

For new content ideas, I would love tips & tricks for specific scenarios. For example, I always struggle to avoid the Stone Titan teleport boss’s laser beam attack. A video addressing how to overcome this would be great.

Glowing Meteorite suffers from the success it had in RoR1. It was the best use item, because it always chose a target it could hit. Meaning, you could hope on a rope and pop it and it would clear fast for you.

first time i played risk of rain 2 i found the last combo and thought i broke the game lol i was stacking drones i think i had more rhan 13 drones and i found a big helicopter drone.. it was awesome

I feel like the Lunar items advice is like Souls fans saying you shouldn't summon, I mean, if it's in the game why not use it? Sure, you'll probably rely on such things instead of raw skill, but you're still getting the job done so... Does it really matter?

I would argue Eulogy Zero is actually the worst Lunar Item. Scratch that, it might actually be the worst item in the entire game. You grab a goat hoof and now all of a sudden, it's a Stone Flux. You grab a band, and now instead it's an Egocentrism. You grab a tri-tip, but now it's actually a Purity. What was that? You got yourself an ATG have you? Well, now your M1 is gone because it's now a Visions of Heresy instead. And to top it all off, when Eulogy isn't doing any of that, it's doing literally nothing- it's a complete dead weight and a total liability to ALL of your runs.

Red whip is mostly good for the beginning of moon

One of the things I disagree about it I usually us artifact of command and get shatterspleen, crit glasses, and neatletick. I mostly agree with everything else though.

I'm unaware if this is on pc, but, as commando if you use suppressive fire and stun an enemy and then slide behind it, the enemy will remain in a stunned state as long as you or an ally don't get close to it.

Strides could’ve been at least decent had they implemented one feature, the ability to sprint out of your ethereal form, then you wouldn’t be stuck waiting so long especially if you stack the item and possibly be setting yourself up to be surrounded as soon as you get out. Then it could be use in a pinch if you’re going to get hit by something deadly such as brass contraptions, or scavenger bullets then immediately sprint out of it to start attacking again

Two big tips I hardly ever see mentioned that have helped me a lot. Try to run through Void Fields after stage one and before 4 mins and 40 seconds. The scaling will still be in Easy and the spawns should be fairly manageable. Worst case you die and lose 5-10 mins; best case you're rolling into stage 2 way ahead of the power curve. For Survivors who can handle it (Loader especially) and at least on stages 1-3, do the teleporter immediately then use the money you gained to loot as much as possible. This saves time and gives you the safety to consider build, scrap, print, etc.
